Refugee Employment & Advancement Program (REAP)

Refugee Employment & Advancement Program (REAP) provides refugees and asylees with the first steps to self-sufficiency through employment.

  • Job Counseling: develop a career plan for both long-term and short-term goals with trained professionals
  • Job Placement: direct connections with local employers, preparation, scheduling, and accompanying for job interviews and job fairs
  • Case Management: assistance with childcare, school enrollment for children, utility payments, medical referrals, and public benefits
  • Referrals for ESL and Other Education Opportunities: classes are held at Nationalities Service Center, or we can connect you with training opportunities close to your home

Refugee Advancement Mentoring Program

The Refugee Advancement Mentoring Program (RAMP) is designed to help refugee professionals overcome barriers to recertification and reaching their career goals in the U.S.

RAMP is a volunteer lead initiative created to support NSC’s Refugee Employment and Advancement Program (REAP).
